What does the Education Committee do?

The CSVS Education Committee currently has 12 members and meets quarterly. They are responsible for maintaining the process of gaining the Accredited Vascular Scientist (AVS) award through theory and practical examinations, education through fundamental study days and revision days, maintaining continued professional development (CPD), advice and networking for trainees and training staff and have regular input into various externally run national courses and curricula.

The committee aims to make education for anyone interested in vascular science accessible and encourages high standards of education provision through the AVS award process.
