CSVS Research Committee
The CSVS Research Committee is committed to developing a strong and inclusive research culture within vascular science. We aim to make research accessible to vascular scientists at every stage of their career, providing the skills, confidence, funding and opportunities needed to get involved.
The Research Committee supports research across CSVS through:

Research funding – Research & Innovation Grants and Writing Grants, with applications accepted year-round and reviewed quarterly.

Research education – Resources covering research methods, study design, statistics, critical appraisal, ethics and publication.

Research Learning Tool – Practical, accessible learning to help members develop their research knowledge and skills.

Research opportunities – Supporting collaboration, research projects and opportunities across the profession.

Research culture – Promoting research as an integral part of a vascular scientist’s career, including protected research time and clinical academic pathways.

Sharing research – Showcasing the work of vascular scientists through CSVS activities and the Annual Scientific Meeting.
Our vision
We want research to become an integral part of vascular science practice and career development. Research can take many forms, from a small service evaluation or quality improvement project to collaborating on larger studies or developing a clinical academic career.
