Virtual Fundamentals Study Day 2026

A one day course delivered as a series of lectures to give an overview and introduction to vascular ultrasound scans and physics. This event will be taught and delivered by experienced vascular scientists.  

Topics include ultrasound physics, haemodynamics, vascular disease and vascular imaging techniques. Being in lecture form, it provides an opportunity for delegates to ask questions and take part in discussions that may help to further develop their understanding and focus onwards learning. 

This event is aimed at individuals in the early stages of their training who are working towards AVS to provide a base upon which to continue their learning, however it can also prove a useful refresher day for anyone at any stage. This event is also suitable for those interested in vascular ultrasound or whose main profession may not be vascular science but who take an interest in or perform some non-invasive vascular investigations, e.g. in-house practitioners, sonographers, screening technicians, vascular assistants, nurses, doctors, surgeons, radiologists etc.
